The Gregori Drumline is and after school and weekend-based ensemble. The drumline consists of two parts: the pit and the battery. The pit is the front ensemble, where the mallet players and auxillary players perform. The battery are all of the drummers who must both play and march in sync. This ensemble requires a huge commitment to rehearsal. It requires 3 hours of practice every Tuesday and Thursday night. Saturday, they typically rehearse from 9 in the morning to at least 5 in the afternoon. Though the commitment is quite large, it is not wasted. The drumline's hard work and dedication has brought them championships for three years. As seniors leave and new students arrive. There are bigger shoes to fill. Whether you choose bruises or blister, there will never be a dull moment in the drumline.
